Parenthood season 6 episode 13 will be a surprising series finale

(www.youtube.com)The Parenthood series comes to an end with the Season 6 finale.

The penultimate episode of Parenthood Season 6, 'We made it through the Night', recently shows the Braverman family welcome Amber's baby as Zeek finally makes the big decision about his surgery with Camille's help. The Parenthood series finale, that is, episode 13 of Season 6, is coming with the maximum surprises.

The final episode of the season, 'May God Bless and Keep you Always' will air on January 29.

At the Television Critics' Association last week, John Corbett, who plays Seth Holt, shared his disappointment of not being a part of the final episode despite having shot for it. The producers reportedly cut Corbett's scenes due to time constraints. He complained:

"They flew me all the way from New York to do as scene with Lauren and it was such a good scene. I got to see baby and they had to cut it for time. I was super bummed."

Fans cannot wait to know if Julia and Joel will make amends or finally call it off. Erika Christensen herself confirmed to Zap2it that "none of the things that happen are (the couple) breaking up". She said to Hollywood Reporter:

"There's a lot that happens in the finale."

A serious change to the relationship is expected in the last episode of the season airing this coming Thursday. Sydney is happy as her parents get back together but Victor is skeptical.

Christensen also revealed to Hollywood Reporter that episode 13 will see a time jump, to serve as what can be called, an epilogue to the whole Parenthood series.

The time jump will result in a look at the characters three years into the future. An excited Christensen said, "It gives me chills. It's about three years. It's awesome."

Can Joel and Julia finally go steady together in the future? Will Zeek's heart surgery save him or kill him? The season finale will answer all questions.
