Philadelphia Eagles trade rumors 2016: Sam Bradford seeking trade?

The Philadelphia Eagles seemed to have everything in check, until a trade drew the ire of quarterback Sam Bradford.

The Eagles recently acquired the rights to the second overall pick from the Cleveland Browns in exchance for multiple picks. They are looking to draft a rookie quarterback, which could be Jared Goff or Carson Wentz, depending on who the Los Angeles Rams pass on.

The move was seen more as a means to improve the backcourt options of the Eagles, but apparently Bradford is not happy with it. In fact, his agent, Tom Condo, says that Bradford will not show up at the offseason programs and wants to be traded.

Despite the demand, the Eagles are unlikely to find a trade partner for now. One team did try, the Denver Broncos. Any potent deal failed to materialize since Philly was reportedly asking too much for the 28-year-old player.

Right now it seems that Bradford has had a change of heart, aiming to prove that he can be a franchise quarterback. He is guaranteed to receive $22 million this season where he is expected to start for the Eagles.

However, that doesn't mean that the Eagles will be discounting a trade. A possible deal could still materialize by Draft Day or in the offseason, especially if Bradford continues to show his displeasure on the team's moves.

Bradford has been known as a team player and is expected to be professional with his craft, regardless if he is traded or not. Accepting the challenge at quarterback is a good sign plus the fact that Bradford knows he has to improve more on his game.

The Eagles are looking for someone who can work with Bradford, with Goff and Wentz likely to be that guy.

For Bradford, he may want to focus on proving he deserves to be a starter for the Eagles or any other team just in case something happens in the coming weeks.
