PlayStation Plus November 2016 free games list: Sony unveils list; 'Dirt 3' included

(PlayStation Blog)November's list of free games for PS Plus includes "Dirt 3" and "Everybody's Gone to the Rapture"

Following rumors that the highly demanded rallying title "Dirt 3" will be added to the lineup of November's PlayStation Plus free games, Sony has taken the speculations to heart and finally released the list, which includes the third installment of the "Dirt" series.

"Dirt 3" has long been rumored to be one of the titles that will be added to the free games roster though it never happened in the past months. This time, Sony has done it for real and users will enjoy the racing experience which was first released for the PlayStation 3, PC and Xbox 360 on May 24, 2011.

While the previous installments in the hit franchise are also enjoyable, a lot of gamers have testified that "Dirt 3" is the real deal, considering that it has more challenging obstacle courses in the gymkhana mode that allow players to earn reputation points.

The game also includes a Hardcore mode which gives players the power to place replay gameplay clips directly to the video uploading platform YouTube. This allows for more chances to share one's skills and abilities in the rallying world and also encourages more gamers to be interested in the hype.

Aside from "Dirt 3," there's also the widely demanded "Everybody's Gone to the Rapture," which was first launched for the PlayStation 4 and PC on August 11, 2015 and April 14, 2016 respectively. The SCE Santa Monica Studio and The Chinese Room title has since taken over the story-based category of gaming and was always requested to be added to the free games roster.

Unlike many games with stories bearing somewhat of a post-apocalypse storyline, "Everybody's Gone to the Rapture" is a first-person adventure game that explores the disappearance of an English town's inhabitants. Players will need to unravel the mystery of the disappearance while interacting with various objects in the gameplay.

Here are the other titles which are available to PlayStation Plus subscribers:

"The Deadly Tower of Monsters" for PS4

"Letter Quest Remastered" for PS Vita

"Costume Quest 2" for PS3

"Pumped BMX for PS Vita

Stay tuned for updates on the December 2016 free games lineup.
