'Pokemon GO' Eevee evolution through nickname assignment

(Pokemon Official)Eevee ca evolve to Vaporeon by assigning the captured Pokemon a Rainer nickname.

A "Pokemon GO" Easter egg has been revealed, and it evokes nostalgia to longtime "Pokemon" fans as it involves the names of the characters from the early years of the anime.

It has been recently learned that what the Eevee evolves into in "Pokemon Go" Eeveelution is dependent on the name given to it based on the Eevee brothers in the anime. Various reports claim that those playing "Pokemon GO" and are able to catch Eevee can transform it into a first-gen Jolteon, Vaporeon, and Flareon by simply assigning them a nickname.

If a person wants his captured Eevee to become Jolteon, all he needs to do is give it the nickname Sparky.

On the other hand, if he wants it to become Vaporeon, the nickname to be given is Rainer.

Finally, if he wants the Eevee to become Flareon, he should assign Pyro as its nickname.

Jolteon, Vaporeon, and Flareon are the Eevee Brothers in the "Pokemon" anime.

Meanwhile, in related news, "Pokemon GO" has finally been launched in its birthplace, Japan. According to reports, the launch of the phenomenal game comes with a tie-up with McDonalds. With this partnership deal with the game and the fast-food chain, it is now expected that branches of McDonalds will serve as a location for players to train their captured Pokemons for a virtual fight.

However, a spokesperson for the said fast-food chain has reminded players not to bother other customers eating in the restaurant as they play the game.

While it is true that "Pokemon GO" is considered to be the most successful mobile game of all time, as it has been the cause of numerous accidents involving gamers looking for Pokemons to capture, Japanese authorities released a safety guide that aims at helping "Pokemon GO" players avert any untoward incidents.

Two of which included in the guidelines are reminding the players not to use their real names and cautioning them to protect themselves against heatstroke as they go out under the sun looking for Pokemons to capture.
