"Pokémon GO" is a highly popular augmented reality mobile game.

Many fans are already looking forward to the Trading System that Niantic Labs is set to introduce to "Pokémon GO." And while no release date been confirmed yet, it is believed that it is bound to arrive anytime soon.

Niantic CEO John Hanke has already confirmed the existence of the Trading System —  something that "Pokémon GO" players have long awaited for. Since other Pokémon titles allow players to trade monsters, it doesn't come as a surprise that the same would be adopted in the highly popular augmented reality mobile game.

And while it's one thing to confirm the feature, it's a completely other thing to announce a date of rollout. But according to Neurogadget, the Terms of Service for the game has already been updated to include rules about trading. This is a good sign that the system will be introduced soon enough.

As previously reported, the code for the Trading System was recently discovered within the update for the Buddy System. And even though it did not explain the rules of trading in its entirety, it did manage to reveal a few things about the system.

First of all, players can trade Pokémon using the system, but it is unknown whether this applies globally or for just within a specific perimeter. Trade offers will be utilized and can be created, deleted, or completed. It also depends on whether the other party accepts. It is believed that players will be able to trade with any player, even if the two parties do not know each other in real life.

Meanwhile, another feature has also been grabbing headlines. A multiplayer battle mode is reportedly in development and almost completed. However, not everything has been ironed out in terms of how it will work, but it is definitely an exciting feature nonetheless.

More news and updates should arrive soon.
