The Pokemon Company and Bandai Namco partnership gives birth to a new Poke-spin-off, 'Pokken Tournament.'

"The muscle and hair of Pokémon, the landscape of the world we live in compared to Pokémon's landscape, it has inflated and produced more imagination ... I was drawn to the state-of-the-art technology and the best staff, so please look forward to the new world of Pokémon like you have never seen before," producer Masaaki Hoshino said in the official website of Pokken.

The new action game features Tekken-themed fighting styles in muscled Pokemon fighters.

Pokemon fanatics might need to get used to the hunky appeal and new fighting flairs.

The collaboration between the two gaming giants was first presented with a one-minute video teaser that showcases Lucario and Machamp in a grassy field combat.

Pokken Tournament is not an RPG where a player catches, trains and set Pokemon characters for battles.

Instead, it is an arcade-fighting styled game just like the Tekken arcade games.

Pokken Tournament is set to hit Japan arcades in 2015.

Bandai Namco has prepared a hefty panel for the upcoming Tokyo Game Show 2014 happening in September.

Pokken Tournament is not on the list, though.

Bandai Namco's console lineup includes Dragon Ball Xenoverse, Godzilla, Ace Combat Infinity, Gundam Breaker 2, Tales of the World: Reve Unitia, Digimon Story, Super Hero Generation, The Seven Deadly Sins: Unjust Sin, Tales of Zestiria, Soulcalibur: The Lost Swords and more.

They will also be unveiling trailers of Android and iOS games during the TGS 2014.

While there are reports that the game is also coming to Nintendo consoles, there is no confirmation yet about the release date on Wii and Wii U.

Furthermore, no details of Western launch have come out of either Bandai Namco or Pokemon Company's turf.

The English video footage however, sends signal of a possible release in the United States and European region.
