Apple has recently unveiled its newest flagship devices, the iPhone 6s and the iPhone 6s Plus and demands for the models are reportedly through the roof. The newest iPhone models are set to officially go on sale on the 29th of September but Apple and several sites are already offering pre-orders in a bid to stem the deluge of demands and to give the company time to ensure that customers get their orders. Shipping of orders will allegedly start on Sept. 25.

According to a spokesperson for the Cupertino-based company, initial reports show that Apple is "on pace" to surpass its 2014 initial weekend sales of 10 million units.

Consumers who plan on getting the latest iPhones can order from the Apple website and its App Store. However, the overwhelming number of people trying to place an order has caused the site to slow down several times.

Aside from the excitement generated by the improvements reportedly made on the iPhone 6s and the iPhone 6s Plus, consumers are psyched about Apple's Upgrade program which allows customers to receive new models every year after it has been launched for a fixed fee every month. The fee, which can range from $32 for a 16 GB for the 6S to $45 for the 6S Plus, includes customer support and the vaunted AppleCare warranty.

Consumers in the U.S. can also pre-order their new iPhones via AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile and Verizon's websites. Each carrier offers customers a wide range of leasing plans and upgrades. AT&T offers a 2-year lease of the 16 GB iPhone 6s for about $22 a month. Sprint offers the iPhone 6s at about $15 a month while the iPhone 6s Plus is pegged at around $19 a month if clients avail of its iPhone Forever plan. T-Mobile offers a big discount on its Jump on Demand upgrade program while Verizon has a 24-month lease plan where one can get a 16 GB iPhone 6s for $27 a month and a 24-month lease of a 16 GB iPhone 6s Plus for about $31 a month.

While American consumers are set to receive their new iPhones this coming months, shipping to customers in China will be delayed for about 3 to 4 weeks while those in Hong Kong might have to wait 4 to 6 more weeks after the iPhone 6s officially goes on sale as both models are unavailable for pre-order since it's already sold out.
