'Pretty Little Liars' is nearing its mid-season finale, with the episode "Taking This One To The Grave" coming up before fans see the girls for the second half of the season again.

Aside from a death that is to be expected in the show, there is a huge speculation that the "A," the mysterious character that has been stalking Hanna, Aria, Spencer and Emily is in fact Alison.

In the previous episode of Pretty Little Liars, the four lead female characters spent days trying to put together pieces that will shed light to Ali's situation.

Ali's absence in the said episode adds more fuel to the fire, making fans and viewers reach the conclusion that "A" is indeed her.

Also in the last episode, Mona overheard some talk about Alison "cooking up something big," with Paige even adding that Alison is forming her own line of defense.

Emily got scared of Alison's overbearingness, while Spencer claims that Alison is involved in a murder, and Hanna is taken to a wall of confrontation saying that she is telling lies.

The next episode promises to finally bring some answers on who "A" really is and if she killed Bethany Young.

The next episode will also show an unexpected death, something that has never been seen in Pretty Little Liars before.

Pretty Little Liars' mid-season finale, Episode 12, will air at 7 p.m. August 26 on ABC Family.
