'Pretty Little Liars' season 5 spoilers: Mona's body about to get found in new episodes

(ABC)

It wouldn't be the first time that someone comes back from the dead. In previous seasons, Alison, who everyone thought was buried on the ground, turned out to be alive.

This time, Mona, who was murdered a few episodes ago could be making a comeback. But that doesn't mean she's alive. Her body is still missing, so that leaves the door wide open for any possibility that she might be alive. Though there's no hint about that in any rumor mill, it's certainly something that would make the plot a lot more interesting this season.

What could be certain is the fact that they will finally discover her body.

In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Executive Producer Joseph Dougherty said that the mystery of Mona's death will soon be shed light on. Though he didn't clarify if it's going to happen in the next week's episode, he said that it is coming soon.

Aside from that, Detective Holbrook will surprise everyone and make a dramatic return. That should make things a lot more interesting for the girls in Rosewood.

Speaking of the girls, each one is going to have problems of their own. Aria, for one, after lying about a letter so she can get admitted to college, will need to figure out a way to tell Ezra before it's too late or put their relationship at risk.

Emily is still being ignored by Paige. But she might be having a new flame. What's even more interesting is what's going to happen between her and Ali.

Spencer is working with Caleb to retrieve evidence, particularly Mona's stolen laptop. As the most intelligent and sane in the group, it makes a lot of sense for Spencer to take the lead and work with Caleb. But her actions can put Toby in hot waters now that he is working in the force.

Lastly, Hanna, is about to get framed for Mona's death. A is out to get her and because she doesn't want to just sit and watch it happen, she goes rogue to try and save herself.

The girls are clearly going to be in for a lot of surprises, action and problems this season. Because they still don't know who A really is, the liars will need to be on their feet, ready for anything.
