Michael Scofield (Wentworth Miller) is still hoping that Sara Tancredi (Sarah Wayne Callies) is waiting for him to return home in the upcoming season of "Prison Break."

Fans are looking forward to the day the hit FOX series will return on television for its newest installment. Miller recently talked about what to expect with his character during the 2016 San Diego Comic Con. As per Design N Trend, the actor believes Michael is still hung up on Sara even after seven years of being apart. Sara believes, as well as his brother Lincoln (Dominic Purcell), that Michael is dead. As shown last season though, he is still very much alive but imprisoned in a Yemeni jail.

According to Miller, Sara has definitely moved on from Michael. She is now living with her new husband (to be played by Mark Feuerstein) and taking care of Michael's son. The new episodes will reportedly see Michael's pained attempt to return to her and the boy. When he does come back, Sara will find Michael a changed man. The years he spent away from them have changed him in many ways and even his own brother will have difficulty adjusting.

"The question is, once he gets there will she even recognize him? Is he still the man she fell in love with? Because he has done some dark things and walked some shady roads, so my question is, and it was interesting to play, does Michael deserve that happy ending? Is that justified? Does he deserve that reunion with Sara that he is creating and that fans are looking forward to?" Miller said in a TVLine interview.

Meanwhile, Parent Herald posits that season 5 will air sometime in December. At the moment, the series is reportedly in post-production. The new installment is expected to be as action-packed as before. New characters may also be introduced alongside the old cast.
