'Rainbow Six Siege' new DLC: Features of upcoming Japan-based add-on leaked in new video

A new Japan-based downloadable content (DLC) pack is expected to be released soon for "Rainbow Six Siege" and interested players may already be able to get an early look at its features courtesy of a new video.

Players can expect to find a new map as well as two operators inside the upcoming content drop, and those are the specific additions that were featured in the video.

Twitter user "@JonKay20" recently shared the video in question, and it begins with the player already inside what looks to be an entirely new map. The player in the video also explores the map a bit, and proceeds to point out some good camping spots while doing so.

The new map previewed in the video also appears to be the interior of some kind of restaurant. GameRant recently reported that the map in question may be known as Skyscraper.

Beyond the map, the video also seems to provide a very quick look at the Japanese defender who will be included in the new DLC pack, though the other operator expected to be featured could not be seen.

At this point, "Rainbow Six Siege" players are still waiting to find out exactly when they may be given access to the Japanese DLC pack.

The game's official Year One Roadmap indicates that the Japanese DLC pack will be released sometime in the fourth quarter of 2016, though developers have yet to announce an exact release date for it.

Once the new DLC pack is released, players can expect it to provide additional features in the form of more cosmetic items. A new game mode along with seasonal activities may also be included in the next "Rainbow Six Siege" content pack.

More news about "Rainbow Six Siege" and the new DLC pack set to be released for it should be made available in the near future.
