News and updates about the western treasure hunting game "Red Dead Redemption 2" are widespread. Although it has been one of the most sought after game in the gaming community, a big percentage of the reports are still speculations.

According to an Express article last year, a game developer from Rockstar is working on a new IP, which is related to the rumors surrounding the "Red Dead Redepmtion" sequel. There is not much shared about the game but there is one more person trying to spread an interesting rumor. A Reddit leakthreads user with an account name of AnonDN1978 has shared some game details. Unfortunately, Reddit seems to have deleted his post but the comments are still available for viewing.

Why would Reddit delete such topic? This is a question that fans don't have a concrete answer to, but it leaves them with the idea that the rumor could be true and Rockstar is just protecting the information.

The rumored details are about new characters for the game. The main character, John Marston, from the first game won't be back so there is going to be a new set of characters that will be playable. Gamers get to enjoy the treasure hunting adventures of the new outlaws.

Gamers can select Seth, Irish and an additional player that can be customized. Seth is from Kansas City. He works in a bank but has decided to take a different path to gain his own riches. Irish is someone from Ireland who moved to America after his 21st birthday. Both of them will meet in Tumbleweed, Texas, sharing the same goal.

The third selection is a character that the gamer can customize, which can be used in a multiplayer game called gang mode. Reports are saying that the second game from the franchise will be titled "Red Dead Redemption: Legends of the West."

No official announcement has been made regarding its release date, but it is speculated to be within this year, probably sometime in October.
