Now that "Reign" season 2 has ended, fans of the show are now looking forward to the next season scheduled to air this fall. However, the previous season left out some sort of complication that may leave fans a couple of questions—including the fact that Francis is dying and for how long does he have to live.

Torrance Coomb (Sebastian Bash) told Seat42F (via Design&Trend) last month that he is on board in case the Mary and Bash ship sails. He said "I'm on board with the long-game between Mary and Bash if that plays out. Let's give people some hope. Let's just say Bash is playing the long-game."

However, in order for this ship to sail, both parties must have an agreement in the form of mutual interest. Unfortunately, Adelaide Kane (Mary, Queen of Scots) heard his statement and told Seat42F "Oh, my lord — Mash is forever alive. (Coombs) is a bit of a s--- stirring, that one. He is a demon. You can't believe a word he says."

Since Mary and Bash had a thing back in season one and Francis is dying, it would not be much of a surprise to see them together possibly around mid-season of "Reign's" season three.

Season two did not just revolve around the fact that Francis is dying. In the finale "Burn," fans of the show have been finally introduced to Queen Elizabeth (Rachel Skarsten), Mary's first cousin and at the same time, her rival.

The question to ask now is, whether there will be an interaction between the two courts, the French court and the English court. Luckily, "Reign's" showrunner Laurie McCarthy told E! News last month that "Eventually, we will."

She continued to say, "Obviously, they're a sea part from one another, but you will see some travel back and forth. We will see some cross-pollination between the two courts."

"Reign" will return with brand new episodes this fall on Friday nights on the CW.
