As the third season of "Reign," the historical drama from The CW network, continues, the tension between the two queens, Queen Elizabeth (Rachel Skarsten) and Queen Mary Stuart (Adelaide Kane), is also growing. In the next episode, which is titled "No Way Out," Mary will even face the dilemma of having Elizabeth killed.

In the promo video for the next episode, Catherine (Megan Follows) was seen advising Mary to kill Elizabeth, which the latter rejected. Catherine emphasized that doing away with Elizabeth is the best way since it will also end the feud between them. However, Mary believes that there is always another way to resolve the issue apart from killing someone.

The video also showed Mary announcing her return to her home country. However, she gave strict orders that no one should know of her return. The news was met with mixed emotions. Those, especially Greer (Celina Sinden), who favor Mary were happy to hear the news because that also holds a lot of significance. For one, she can win back her power in her home country.

On the other hand, Elizabeth and her people were agitated. In one scene of the trailer, Elizabeth was seen saying that Mary's return also means that she can take her (Elizabeth's) throne anytime since Mary has a right to it as well.

While Mary is planning her return to Scotland, the synopsis for the upcoming episodes also reveal that Mary and Gideon (Ben Geurens) find themselves more emotionally drawn to each other. As the season continues, their affection for each other will grow deeper and deeper.

Meanwhile, TV Line reports that Elizabeth and Lola (Anna Popplewell) will turn into allies. In fact, Lola will become Elizabeth's confidant as the former reveals to the latter who was responsible for ending her pregnancy.

"Reign" airs every Monday at 8 p.m. EST on CW.
