After spending some time taking care of her niece in Barbados, Rihanna voiced her opinion on how CBS decided to pull her song 'Run This Town' from the opening credits of NFL Football.

CBS released a statement that this was to avoid being "insensitive" following the controversy surrounding ex-Baltimore Ravens player, Ray Rice. A video was leaked showing Rice punching her wife, then fiancée, Janay, in a Casino elevator.

"Beginning this Thursday, we will be moving in a different direction with some elements of our Thursday Night Football open. We will be using our newly created Thursday Night Football theme music to open our game broadcast," CBS said in a statement, as reported by Entertainment Wise.

Obviously, Rihanna was not too happy about it. In 2009, Rihanna was domestically abused by ex-boyfriend, Chris Brown, with the fiasco going public. In her Twitter post, Rihanna felt that she is being "penalized."

"CBS you pulled my song last week, now you wanna slide it back in this Thursday? NO, F**k you! Y'all are sad for penalizing me for this," Rihanna wrote on her Twitter account.

In a recent update, Rihanna's record label, Roc Nation, has released a statement saying that they were the ones who decided not to clear the song for CBS' usage.

"Due to the misuse and misrepresentation of Rihanna's name and participation in connection to CBS TNF, CBS was not allowed to license and utilise the song 'Run This Town.' Roc Nation made the decision to not grant the song's usage," Roc Nation told website Access Hollywood.
