"Rocket League" players will be getting a blast from the past in the form of soon-to-be added DLC cars.

In a recent post on their official web site, the game's developers revealed that they will be adding two new cars taken from "Supersonic Acrobatic Rocket-powered Battle-cars."

For those who may be unaware, Psyonix is the developer behind both "Rocket League" and "Supersonic Acrobatic Rocket-powered Battle-cars," so the new DLC items should be familiar additions for fans who have been long-time supporters.

Going back to the new DLC items, the cars to be added will be the Aftershock and the Marauder. Both cars will also be featuring updated designs that will allow them to fit in even better within the game, and they will also come bundled together with six decals each.

"Rocket League" players can look forward to Aftershock and Marauder being made available as digital purchases starting July 18. Players can purchase each car for $1.99.

The new cars will also be included in the "Rocket League Collector's Edition" that is currently set to be released in Europe on June 24 and in North America on July 5.

Prior to the arrival of the new cars, "Rocket League" players will also be gaining access to some additional features being added via the June update.

In a separate post on the game's official web site, developers revealed the introduction of Rare and Very Rare items as well as a new item trade-in system.

The Rare and Very Rare items will be obtainable through online matches, and they can be used to change the appearances of the players' cars.

As for the trade-in system, this addition will allow players to exchange five Uncommon or Rare items in order to receive one item that possesses a higher quality.

Following the implementation of the trade-in system, a player-to-player trading system may also be introduced in a separate update.

No specific release date has been provided for "Rocket League's" June update, though it should be made available soon enough.
