"Rocket League's" upcoming June update just got even bigger with the recent announcement of the "Neo Tokyo" DLC.

"Neo Tokyo" will be the new, futuristic-looking stadium being made accessible to players starting June 20. The new stadium has been outfitted with neon lights, has also been surrounded with enormous skyscrapers and given other technological touches, turning it into one of the more unique-looking maps offered in the game.

In a post on the game's official web site, developers revealed that "Neo Tokyo" was originally included in the "Rocket Labs" playlist, though it was still known as "Underpass" then.

Aside from "Neo Tokyo," players will also be gaining access to a new experimental Arena via the upcoming June update. In "Pillars," players will be able to try out a map that now features three lanes created by the two walls that are situated in the middle of the playing area itself.

Other additions coming via the June update also include the "Rare," "Very Rare," "Painted" and "Certified" item types. A new trade-in system is also being added and it will allow "Rocket League" players to offload some of the duplicate items that they have held on to up to this point.

New achievements and trophies are also being added via the upcoming update.

Following the arrival of "Neo Tokyo" and the other contents of the update on June 20, players can then look forward to receiving some new cars not long after that.

The new cars, Esper and Masamune, will be made available to those who purchase the "Rocket League Collector's Edition" on June 24 in Europe and on July 5 in North America, joining two other cars which were already previously announced, Aftershock and Marauder.

The four cars will then be offered as digital purchases starting July 18, with each new "Rocket League" vehicle being made available for $1.99.
