Samsung's latest flagships, the Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge are a successful blend of premium materials and advanced technology, and are already available in unique colors. But for Samsung fans who prefer more vibrant colored devices, the Korean smartphone maker is now offering the Blue Topaz version exclusively on the Galaxy S6 and the Green Emerald only for the Galaxy S6 Edge.

Samsung has developed the new colors with the help of world renowned personality & behavior psychologist, Dr. Donna Dawson, and claims that they represent different experiences and personalities. According to Dawson, people who opt for Samsung's Blue Topaz Galaxy S6 are likely to be more self-confident, fastidious, discriminating, sensitive, exacting, and intuitive. The 'brightness' of the color apparently attracts more people who are both self-assured and know what they like. On the other hand, users of the Green Emerald Galaxy S6 Edge will "tend to be balanced, loyal, hard-working, honest, benevolent and concerned for others."

Samsung will release both the new models internationally with 128GB, 64GB, and 32GB memory options, but has stated in its official press release that "the launch date and models may vary by region and channels". Samsung has earlier offered various color options for its Galaxy S flagships, including purple, red and brown, which were available with different carriers. For instance, Verizon was the exclusive carrier for the brown version of Galaxy S, while AT&T was the sole provider of the red Galaxy S. It still remains to be seen which carriers will offer the Blue Topaz Galaxy S6 and Green Emerald Galaxy S6 Edge.
