While Samsung is gearing up to conduct a press conference for the highly anticipated Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus smartphones this week, more rumors about the device continue to emerge online.

After the major leak that was revealed by credible KGI Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo early this month, another leaked report came out from German tech site called WinFuture that reportedly contains a lot of pertinent information about the upcoming flagship device from the South Korean consumer and electronics products manufacturer.

Various sources have listed down some of the details that were mentioned by the German tech site, including the actual screen size and dimensions of the devices, as well as its other features.

According to reports, the Samsung Galaxy S8 will be slightly bigger than its predecessor since it will now have a 5.8-inch display compared to the Galaxy S7's 5.1-inch screen.

The upcoming device will also measure 148.9 x 68.1 x 8.0 mm and weigh 151 grams, which is a gram lighter compared to the previous model. On the other hand, the Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus will be a lot bigger compared to the Galaxy S7 Edge because of its massive 6.2-inch screen.

Reports also mention that both devices will have the latest ultra-wide 18.5:9 aspect ratio that allows it to have 2960 x 2400 native resolution. They will also both come with curved OLED displays for the first time.

The devices will also omit the physical home button, but the report also reveals that both smartphones will still have the IP68 water and dust resistance feature.

The leaked report also claims that both the Samsung Galaxy S8 and Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus will feature the company's own Exynos 8895 chipset in most countries around the world, except for those that will be purchased in China, Japan, and the U.S. that will come out with the Snapdragon 835 from Qualcomm.

The batteries and cameras will also show some improvements in both devices.

According to the report, the pricing for the Samsung Galaxy S8 and Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus in Europe will be set at €799 and €899, respectively, which means that it could be sold in the U.S. for $799 to $849 and $899 to $949.

But Samsung is expected to reveal the official details about the Samsung Galaxy S8 and Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus during the upcoming Galaxy Unpacked 2017 launch event in New York City on Wednesday, March 29, at 11 a.m. EDT. Those who cannot attend the event can watch the story unfold on the Galaxy webpage.
