South Korean tech vendor Samsung has given much hype about its next-generation phablet, the Samsung Galaxy Note 7. However, another device from the tech giant is also making news lately in the form of the Samsung Galaxy Tab S3, which is reported to be released next month.

Samsung is somewhat sending feelers about the arrival of the Galaxy Tab S3 when the predecessor of the yet-to-be released tablet, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S2, was put on sale on Amazon for $299 for its 32 GB version, which is $100 cheaper from its initial release.

Moreover, Evan Blass, a credible and known phone leaker, even posted a photo of the rumored tablet from Samsung, which made tech enthusiasts assume that the arrival of the said device is inevitable and will be out sooner than expected.

Reports also suggest that the upcoming tablet will be released in two variants. The smaller variant will be around 8 inches, while the other will don a larger 9.7-inch display. The appearance, however, will only bear subtle differences from its predecessor, but will differ greatly on what's inside. The Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 was equipped with an octa-core Exynos chip, while the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 will now be lodged with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 chip, which is a bit faster as compared to the Exynos.

Furthermore, the tablet will also be sold in three versions of varying storage capacities and will be expandable through a microSD card. Additional features of the new tablet will be almost identical to those in its older version, such as its battery pack as well as the front and back cameras. The two will differ though on their operating system. The Galaxy Tab S3 will have the Android Marshmallow, compared to the Galaxy Tab S2's Android Lollipop when it was first introduced in the market.

As mentioned earlier, rumor has it that it is more likely that the new tablet from Samsung might have a mid-July release.
