After it was speculated that the Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 would be unveiled at the just-concluded IFA 2016 event in Berlin, Germany, many Samsung fans were left disappointed as the event concluded without even a mere mention of the device.

Speculations on the announcement of the said Samsung device stemmed from earlier reports saying that the Colombian website of the said South Korean company posted that the Galaxy Tab 3 would be unveiled along with the Galaxy 7 in the IFA event. However, reports claim that the said post was eventually taken down in order for Samsung to make the official announcement.

Instead of announing the Galaxy Tab S3, though, Samsung briefed the press with its new line of home appliances and its newest smartwatch, its Gear S3, which comes in Classic and Frontier versions.

Nonetheless, fans are still hoping that the Galaxy Tab S3 will be launched within the year.

Without the awaited launching of the Galaxy Tab S3, Samsung fans are now again back in limbo as to what the upcoming tablet may have to offer. Although there are speculations claiming that there is a possibility for the said tablet to come with curved-edge screen display, just like the company's high-end Edge series, there are some who are skeptical whether it will really be the case.

However, according to PC Advisor, one thing is certain: the Galaxy Tab S3 will be one powerful tablet with impressive specs and features, such as a Quad-HD Super AMOLED display, Qualcomm's octa-core Snapdragon 652 processor with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage.

The online publication also opines that it is likely for the device to offer 8-megapixel and 2-megapixel back and front cameras, respectively.

Instead of the increasingly popular USB-C port terminal for charging, though, the Galaxy Tab S3 is suspected to offer a Micro-USB port.

Even if the new Android Nougat is expected to be released prior to the Galaxy Tab S3, it is also alleged that there is still a possibility of the said device to run on Android Marshmallow with TouchWiz.

However, until the Galaxy Tab S3 is officially launched, everything said about the specs and features it will carry will remain a speculation and must be taken with a grain of salt at this point in time.
