The Memphis Grizzlies are just trying to survive the playoffs and at least prevent a sweep when they take on the San Antonio Spurs in Game 3, which takes place tonight in their home court, the FedExForum.

In the first two games of the series, it was total domination by the Spurs who took Game 1 with a score of 106-74. They then continued the splendid performance with a 94-68 Game 2 victory.

All the Grizzlies could do was succumb to the Spurs who are playing with a healthy roster, unlike them who lost key players even before the playoffs started.

In the Game 2 defeat, leading Memphis was veteran guard Tony Allen, who had 12 points, three rebounds, one assist and two steals.

Besides Allen, only one other player from the Grizzlies scored in double-digits and it was former All-Star big man Zach Randolph, who listed 11 points, 12 rebounds, three assists, with one steal.

Because of the lack of offensive production from their teammates, there is no wonder why Memphis did not even reach 70 points in the second game of the series.

Meanwhile for San Antonio, no one really exploded to carry the offensive load but all 13 players who saw action scored.

Reserve playmaker Patty Mills was the top scorer for San Antonio having 16 points with two assists.

Defensive Player of the Year (DPOY) forward Kawhi Leonard recorded 13 points, three rebounds, two steals and one block.

All-Star forward LaMarcus Aldridge and veteran guard Kevin Martin chipped in 10 points each.

Despite the series now in Memphis for Games 3 and 4, the Spurs are still expected to win both outings and finish it in just four games, considering the condition of the Grizzlies roster.
