Horror-comedy "Scream Queens" hasn't got an official premiere date yet but its cast members already gave some teasers on what fans should expect in season 2. They say that it will be a lot darker and bloodier, which sent fans into excitement for the coming season.

In an interview on E! News, the cast, headed by Jamie Lee Curtis who plays Cathy Munsch, said that there will be lots of hospital scenes in the second season as the storyline goes darker.

"I think it'll be dark. I think it's going to be very dark. It's in a hospital, [there's] a lot of darkness in hospitals — dark hallways, scary rooms, sharp objects, a lot of blood, disinfectants," Curtis adds.

In season 2 of "Scream Queens," Curtis will become the head of the hospital who will try to "fix the broken system." She will also be the only one who has the heart to take on cases that no one will take.

Emma Roberts, who plays Chanel Oberlin, the head of the Kappa Kappa Tau sorority house, added that fans should expect the unexpected.

She also says that the show will add new cast members who will make the show even wilder and more fun. It has been revealed in earlier reports that "Scream Queens" will be adding four new male actors in season 2.

Lea Michele, who plays Hester and who turned out to be one of the murderers in the show's first season, agrees with her cast mates and revealed that her character will be crazier and darker in season 2. She added that she is game to anything director and co-creator Ryan Murphy will ask her character to do.

"Scream Queens" co-creator Brad Falchuk revealed during the 2016 Paleyfest via Variety that the second season was inspired by the slasher hit movie "Halloween" where Curtis was the lead star.
