'Sister Wives' season 8 canceled? Kody plans to marry two more wives?

(Sister Wives / Facebook)"Sister Wives" season 8 may be canceled by TLC.

The controversial TLC reality show "Sister Wives" is yet to be renewed for an eighth season. Even though there is still no official word from the network, rumor has it that the show will be axed and will no longer return to the small screens.

According to reports, Kody Brown is planning on extending his family by having two marriages. Apparently, TLC no longer agrees with the Brown patriarch's plans. The rumored new women are younger than his current wives. There are speculations that he wants to cut ties with the four fives and replace them with the new ones.

However, what's even worse is that these two new women are a related to the Browns. Hollywood Life previously reported that Kody wants to wed a family friend and a relative. This revelation came from the family's friend, Kendra Pollard.

She said that Kody no longer wants to deal with his current wives since the four of them haven't been supportive of him. So, as revenge, he is planning to marry new women.

As to who these women are, Pollard revealed, "The Browns have mingled with Amber on and off over the years. Robyn's not sure, and I'm not sure, if this is a legit love or for TV purposes. It's freaky, and Kody swore that he would never do this. Kody's on the wife topic again. I just refuse to go there."

Other reports speculate that the reason behind Kody acting up is because he is currently under a midlife crisis. This is caused by getting lack of support from the wives and his marriage with them is reportedly not going so well. However, all of these could be just a publicity stunt to hype up the show and increase the public interest for the upcoming season 8.

The season 8 renewal or cancellation announcement of "Sister Wives" is expected to be released soon by TLC.
