'Sister Wives' season 8 cancellation rumors are not true, wives say

(Sister Wives / Facebook)"Sister Wives" season 8 cancellation rumors are not true, wives say.

TLC's reality show "Sister Wives" has been getting bad press lately after heaps of rumors popped out of the Internet that the show will no longer return for season 8 and Kody Brown will be marrying two more women. Apparently, all of these are not true.

A lot of reports surfaced on the Internet that TLC will be pulling the plug on the reality show about the polygamous family Brown, "Sister Wives." Apparently, there is no truth to such reports.

According to Blasting News, there is no truth that the patriarch is looking to add two more wives. Apparently, the patriarch of the Brown family has already expressed before that he is already in an age where he is old to have more kids and more wives. Plus, he is very much in love with his youngest wife, Robyn, so he may no longer have the time to find for more women to add in his family tree.

Regarding the cancellation of the show because of the unsupportive wives, reality stars and wives Meri and Robyn had already addressed these rumors. Meri said that everything is fine between her and the wives. She and Janelle agree on a lot of things, while Robyn and Christine are very close.

Meri also aired her side on Twitter. Here tweet reads: "No matter the haters & unbelievers, I know my truth, I know my heart, & it's my daughter & my family that matter. #SisterWives"

Robyn Brown also tweeted, "Conversations that never happened, texts that were never sent, friendships that don't exist, situations that aren't real- makes for a fun read."

It can be noted that season 7 of the reality show just capped last June 26 so it's reasonable that there is no announcement yet since the series is still taking a break. But since TLC keeps putting updates about the Browns on its website, this just means that they have no plans of axing the show yet.

More on "Sister Wives" season 8 is expected to come out soon.
