'Sister Wives' season 8 rumors: Is Kody Brown facing a midlife crisis?

(Facebook/Sister Wives) Rumor has it that Kody Brown is undergoing a midlife crisis.

After it was reported that Kody Brown is planning to add two more wives to his four spouses, the rumor mill is abuzz with news that the polygamous husband who top bills the reality series "Sister Wives" is undergoing a midlife crisis.

According to a report, Brown is currently suffering from a midlife crisis. In the event that the reality series gets another season run, this might be highlighted in "Sister Wives" season 8.

It is said that at 47, Brown is very much a candidate for a midlife crisis. A midlife crisis is common among men aged 37 to 50 years old. If the polygamous Brown patriarch is really undergoing the said condition, it could be the reason why he wants to add two more wives.

However, there are those who opine that the rumor of Brown allegedly wanting to marry two more women in his life is nothing more than a publicity stunt. While it's true that viewers of "Sister Wives" were appalled by his behavior during the first few seasons of the show, they are slowly getting used to Brown's antics. The show now needs to come up with a new gimmick to renew the public's interest in the Brown family.

Apart from the allegations that Brown is planning to have two more wives, there are also rumors saying that TLC is not planning to renew the reality series, supposedly because of Brown's wish to add more women to his household. Nonetheless, even this rumor is suspected to be a publicity stunt to generate buzz for the reality series and to lure back its lost viewership.

Is Brown really experiencing a midlife crisis? Are the rumors saying that he's planning to add two more wives just for publicity? Is TLC really dropping the show?

Unfortunately, at this point, no one outside the show and TLC really knows the answer.
