The launch of the alpha testing of "Star Wars Battlefront" on the PC was met with some unpleasant news. All efforts of the game developer to keep the game under wraps have gone to waste as videos featuring the gameplay have leaked on a number of sites.

As of now, there is little doubt that a select few players and other members of the public who were invited to be part of the alpha test were responsible for the leaked footage. The moment the developer DICE and publisher Electronic Arts became aware of these videos, they launched a campaign to take them down, but like all things that have been released on the Internet, they are proving to be very difficult to trace and remove.

As for the content in the videos, they featured several important gameplay details of the upcoming game, which is scheduled to be released on consoles such as the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 and also on PC on November 17.

Among the details revealed was a single player gameplay and a multiplayer action mode. Another video also showed an assault battle taking place on the planet Hoth.

Ever since players got their hands on the files containing the alpha test, they have taken to a number of forums to share details about the game. The huge amount of information available has pointed towards getting new weapons, such as the E11, A280, DH17, DL44, DLT19, DLT20a, rocket launcher, SE14c, T21  and EE3 (probably for Boba Fett only).

As for the vehicles in "Star Wars Battlefront," based on the leaked images and videos, the ones included are the T-65 X-wing, Lambda Shuttle, Corellian Corvette, Imperial Star Destroyer, and the 74-Z Speeder Bike all being present in the game.

It is unclear right now how EA will manage to remove all of the leaked information and footage on the Internet as videos from other sources keep replacing the ones the game publisher manages to take down.
