'Star Wars: Episode 8' spoilers, news: Leia to confront Kylo Ren over Han Solo's death

(Facebook/Star Wars Movies)A confrontation between Leia and her son Kylo Ren is rumored to happen in "Star Wars: Episode 8."

"Star Wars Episode 8" is not slated to arrive until December 2017, but this early, various rumors and speculations about the game have surfaced online. The latest in the rumor mill is that the upcoming sequel will feature General Leia Organa (Carrie Fisher) confronting her son Kylo Ren (Adam Driver) over the death of Han Solo (Harrison Ford).

According to spoilers, part of the plot of the upcoming movie is the confrontation that will ensue between Leia and her son Kylo Ren. Reportedly, Leia will be kidnapped by the First Order and will then wake up in the presence of her son. As the scene progresses, it is said that Kylo Ren will beg her mother to tell him of the whereabouts of Finn.

However, instead of caving in to the demand of her son, Leia asks Kylo Ren about Han, his father. Allegedly, the mere mention of Han's name will anger Kylo Ren, and it will be disclosed that he hasn't forgiven his father yet for leaving his mother during their ordeal.

It is said, though, that Leia will counter Kylo Ren's accusations, explaining to him that none that happened to them was Han's faults, and there was no way for him to do things differently when he was still alive.

Upon hearing his mother's explanation, it is said that Kylo Ren will have a change of heart, and his opinion of his father will change. Nonetheless, he will still do everything he can to know the whereabouts of Finn from his mother.

However, while it is said that the source of the aforementioned spoiler scene is allegedly reliable and is a movie insider, there are those who believe that the said scene between Leia and Kylo Ren is nothing but a hoax.

Meanwhile, in another "Star Wars: Episode 8" news, sources say that fans still cannot expect the announcement on the official title of "Star Wars: Episode 8" anytime soon, and it will be simply dubbed as "Star Wars: Episode 8" for the time being.

"I heard a title, but I don't know if it's going to be that. I really don't know much about anything. I heard the title a long time ago before we started filming, and so I feel some things have slightly tweaked during production. It's going to be a while before it's released I imagine," said Daisy Ridley, who is set to appear in the said movie reprising her Rey character, in an interview.
