'Star Wars episode VII: The Force Awakens' plot: 3 marital arts actors cast in film; Is Rey an Evil Jedi?

(IMDb)

Ardent fans and loyalists of the "Star Wars" series have been playing guesswork in order to figure out the plot for the upcoming movie, "Star Wars episode VII: The Force Awakens". The production team has taken stringent security measures in order to ensure no leaks are surfaced over the Internet. With very little information from the cast members or production team, fans will have to make-do with spoilers, rumors and speculations.

Rumors reported by CrossMap cite that Hans Solo will be alive in the upcoming movie and Princess Leia would have been the leader of the Republic for 30 years now. Solo will not die. Speculations also suggest that a possible relationship may be formed by Hans Solo and Oscar Isaac's Poe Dameron, the former calling him the latter a kid.

Other rumors doing the rounds is that Rey might go over to the Dark Side in the film, according to iDigital Times. She embraces a cyborg, possibly a Boyega, but her intentions may not be what they seem. Given that the trailer of the movie revolves around the theme of light and darkness, maybe there is some truth in Rey turning to the Dark Side?

Meanwhile, Oscar Isaac, who plays Poe Dameron, is quashing plot theories saying that they are way off-base. In an interview with Yahoo! Movies, Isaac said, "I can't speak for the cast and crew, I can just speak for myself, but for me I thought, don't you want to wait so you can get the real thing?"

He later added, "But it creates excitement for it. I don't think these little leaks necessarily ruined watching the trailer. And also, the (plot theories) that get that formulated based on these things — they couldn't be more far off-base."

In other reports, three martial arts actors Iko Uwais, Yayan Ruhian, and Cecep Arif Rahman are cast in the show. What role will they play? Looks like fans will just have to wait for Dec. 18, 2015 when the movie releases to know the real story.
