Summer has officially started and Gabe Newell knows what to do to make it even hotter for avid gamers. Last June 23, the digital distribution platform Steam launched its Steam Summer Sale where AAA and indie games from different consoles especially with PC are now being offered with an insanely huge discount. Fans who have been waiting and saving up for this event might have been digging around Steam store's website for some great finds.

Moreover, gamers might find a treasure of a deal with games that can be bought at around $10 or even less.

Some of the games that are worth the mention include "The Talos Principle" which is a first-person puzzle game from the Croatia-based developer Croteam. Released in 2014, the title received positive reviews for its smooth gameplay, graphics, and of course challenging puzzles to solve. The title's now on sale at $9.99 until July 4.

Supergiant Games' sci-fi role-playing game "Transistor" is a good catch. At $4.99, gamers will get to play the protagonist Red as she slashes her way in each level using a strange sword probably of alien origin.

Game connoisseurs who might be looking for AAA games might find MachineGames and Bethesda Softworks' "Wolfenstein: The New Order" a delectable treat. The return of this first-person shooter will definitely be enjoyed by gamers at an amazing $9.99.

With the tag line, "Lose your mind. Eat your crew. Die," Failbetter Games' "Sunless Sea" might get your attention. Players assume the role of a steamboat captain and traverse the sea called Unterzee. It's now on sale at $9.49.

Moreover, another title that's currently on sale is the tower defense game from Amplitude Studios dubbed "Dungeon of the Endless," where players will have to escape the alien planet that they've crash landed into.

Other notable mentions include "Divinity: Original Sin - Enhanced Edition" from Larian Studios, "Nightfall: Escape" from developer 7 Seals Studio, Knitted Pixels' "Defenders of the Last Colony," and the AAA game "Doom" from id Software and Bethesda Softworks.
