"Stranger Things" creators Ross and Matt Duffer revealed that Dr. Owens will be the new head of the laboratory, the man-in-charge of keeping all supernatural situations at bay. In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, the creators referred to their character as "Paul Reiser" before they came up with the name Dr. Owens. According to Matt, the character pays homage to the actor's traitorous character in "Aliens," Burke.

"Do you trust that guy or is he Burke?'" Ross told the news outlet. "Paul was saying the reason James Cameron cast him is because he thought people would inherently trust him and it would be a twist."

When Entertainment Weekly tried to pry information from Reiser, he said that he has only revealed a few of the scripts. He does not entirely know what the show has in store for his character. Reiser admitted that he knows little about his character, and, despite that, he absolutely cannot tell a soul about the upcoming season of "Stranger Things."

As previously reported, Matt and Ross Duffer opted to change the chapter titles that they released last year. The following titles were "Madmax," "The Boy Who Came Back to Life," "The Pumpkin Patch," "The Palace," "The Storm," "The Pollywog," "The Secret Cabin," "The Brain," and "The Lost Brother."

"At that point, we knew everything major that was going to happen moving into season 2," Ross said. However, recently, the creators have changed their mind mainly because fans have been able to piece things together based on the episode titles alone. "Some of them we didn't put because these people are smart on the f—ing internet. You've seen it with Westworld — they figured it out! I've seen videos analyzing the chapter titles and they're right on a lot," he admitted.

"Stranger Things" season 2 premieres later this year.
