The closer everyone gets to 2016, the closer gamers are to getting the latest "Street Fighter" game. And with "Street Fighter V" gearing for another beta testing this month, game company Capcom has revealed which characters will be available during the trial run.

When "Street Fighter V" is made available for beta testing this Oct. 22, gamers from all over the globe will be able to access it, so long as they have pre-ordered the game via participating retailers or the PlayStation Store (or Steam for PC users). The beta will last for four days from the said date until Oct. 25, but the Capcom news site says the dates are still "subject to change."

On the first day of the beta run, players will be able to choose from the following characters: Ken, Necalli, Rainbow Mika, and Vega. By the second day, Rashid will be thrown into the mix and Karin by the third day. What about the characters from the first beta, namely Birdie, Cammy, Chun-Li, M. Bison, Nash, and Ryu? They will not be playable during this test.

Also up in this testing phase are some of "SFV's" online capabilities. During the four-day run, players will be able to see combined leaderboards and ranked matchmaking. Player search plus some unlockables from fight money are also in the bag. "Ultra Street Fighter IV" costumes will also be available but most likely only in Japan.

On Oct. 24 and 25, the PlayStation 4 to PC cross-platform will be tested. This will be the first time that the two different platforms will be allowed to battle it out in the ring.

Access to the beta game will be via beta redemption key. Instructions on how to access the key will be sent to registered PSN ID email addresses prior to the beta run.

"Street Fighter V" is expected to retail during the first quarter of 2016.
