'Suits' season 5 spoilers: NBA legend Charles Barkley will make guest appearance

(USA Network/TVGuide)First look of season 5 of "Suits".

Sometimes, wishes do come true, as they have for "Suits" creator Aaron Korsh and NBA star Charles Barkley. The Hollywood Reporter exclusively broke the news that the NBA star will appear in a guest role in episode three of the upcoming season five.

The former NBA All-Star is a huge fan of the legal drama and has been quite outspoken of his love for the Aaron Korsh series. Well, Korsh is as much a fan of Barley as he is of the show. Once word got out that Barkley loves the show, Korsh roped in the "Inside the NBA" host for an episode.

The 52-year-old utilized his only off day on Friday to travel to Toronto, Canada, to shoot the episode. Barkley isn't the only professional player to guest star on the show. Olympian Michael Phelps also made an appearance in season three.

Barkley will play a fictionalized and heightened version of himself. He will be one of Harvey's many clients who will help him get out of trouble. Apparently, he assists Harvey when he rubs a no-name partner the wrong way. Only things go horribly awry.

Christina Cole of "The Assets" fame will feature in a recurring role in season five, reports TVLine. An erudite Harvard educated psychiatrist, Christina plays Dr. Paula Agard. She and Harvey engage in a cat-and-mouse game throughout the forthcoming season. Cole bumps into Harvey, as she is a high end corporate consultant. Although she is described as a perfect match for Harvey, it is unclear if she will be a potential love interest for the ace lawyer, or his personal psychiatrist who helps him deal with his myriad issues. Fans know Harvey has many problems, among which the key issue is letting people, such as Donna, into his life.

The season premiere deals with the aftermath of Donna's decision to leave Harvey and work for Louis as his secretary. Jessica readjusts to her single life, while Mike and Rachel bask in the happiness of his marriage proposal. USA Network has shared the first poster of season five (pictured above).

"Suits" premieres on Wednesday, June 24 at 9 p.m. ET on USA Network.
