With the 3DS version bagging sales of 705,000 units just a few weeks after launch, the pressure doubles for the Super Smash Bros Wii U release date on Nov. 21.

As the game's launch cannot come fast enough for many fans, Game Director Masahiro Sakurai teased fans with a photo op feature via Miiverse.

"Pic of the day. Zael from The Last Story grabs some Superspicy Curry from Master Hand. 'No...! You mustn't let that curry lure you in...!!' In the Wii U version, you can take photos of dream collaborations and funny situations with your trophies in the Photo Studio," he posted.

This Photo Studio is going to be one of the main differences between Super Smash Bros 3DS and Wii U versions, aside from 'Board Game Mode' and stage creator for brawler revealed by Amazon in their listing.

"Whether you're creating stages on the GamePad, competing in challenges crafted by Master Hand and Crazy Hand, or outwitting your opponents in a brand new board game mode, there's no doubt that the ultimate Smash Bros. game has arrived," the game description reads.

Last week, Sakurai hinted on the Master Hand and Crazy Hand modes.

The year has so far been a mixed bag of good and bad for Nintendo, which has been struggling to find their place with the industry dominated by Sony's PlayStation 4 and Microsoft's Xbox One.

It has launched well-received video games like Super Mario Kart 8 (sold 1.2 million units) and Super Smash Bros 3DS, and is looking to release three more highly anticipated titles Bayonetta 2, Super Smash Bros Wii U and Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire.

The upcoming releases could in fact give Nintendo a strong close to an otherwise challenging year.
