Despite some gadget pundits being skeptical, it is said that there is no more stopping Microsoft's Surface Book 2 from getting unveiled tomorrow, Oct. 26. And, when it arrives, it is expected to deliver big improvements, especially on where the current Surface Book fell short.

As the Surface Book 2 is rumored to pack the Intel Kaby Lake processor, some people couldn't help but wonder if the device is really slated for a reveal tomorrow at Microsoft's Windows 10 event. After all, it has been reported that the latest chipset from Intel was only shipped out recently.

However, rumors claiming that the Surface Book 2 will debut tomorrow have outweighed the skepticisms as it is said that it is certain for the fans to get a glimpse of the device tomorrow, much more that the current version of the device was revealed in the same month last year. In fact, it may not be the only device that will possibly get unveiled at the upcoming Microsoft event as the suspected Surface Phone and the Surface all-in-one (AIO) PC are also suspected to be unveiled.

Meanwhile, in the event that the Surface Book 2 is revealed tomorrow, it can finally be confirmed if its rumored specs and features are, indeed, correct. Apart from the persistent rumors saying that it will pack the Intel Kaby Lake processor, it is also said that the device is equipped with the ability of supporting 4K video playback and 3D graphics.

In terms of storage, the device is rumored to boast of 16 GB RAM with a 1 TB internal memory variant, which is needed by the device if it is, indeed, to support 4K video playback. 

As the current Surface Book's Fulcrum Hinge became a clay pigeon for the critics, because it prevents the laptop from closing properly and makes it susceptible to dirt and other elements, it is also expected that the Surface Book 2 will come with an improvement on this aspect.
