There is no denying that gadget fans are keeping an eye on Microsoft as it is heavily speculated that it will release several Surface products this October. While it's true that the Surface Book 2 and the Surface Pro 5 are worth watching out for, fans are more eager to know more about the rumored Surface Phone, which, according to the latest reports, will come with its own Surface stylus pen and a detachable keyboard.

Microsoft hasn't confirmed yet whether it's really releasing a Surface Phone. However, there are already various rumors and speculations as to what the device will offer. The latest in the rumor mill is that the Surface Phone will come with its own Surface stylus pen and detachable keyboard.

However, it has been learned that the said alleged features of the Surface Phone are nothing more than a concept of Polish designer Bartłomiej Tarnowski based on the rumored specs of the device. Nonetheless, as Microsoft has been mum on any details of the Surface Phone and even on its existence, there can still be a chance for the Surface Phone to really come with the said concept features visualized by Tarnowski.

Meanwhile, apart from the possibility of having its own Surface Pen and detachable keyboard, it is also suspected that the Surface Phone will come with its own fingerprint sensor. This speculation came into formation after the alleged patent applied for by Microsoft surfaced online, wherein it is revealed that the company has applied for a patent for the said feature.

While it's true that the fingerprint sensor is nothing new, as Apple first introduced it as the distinguishing feature of its iPhone 5s back in 2014, it is said that the one that the Surface Phone will offer deviates from the conventional as the feature will not be located at the power button of the device but on the screen of the phone itself.

Microsoft is rumored to host an event on Oct. 26, where it is suspected to launch its latest Surface Products. Should this really happen, only by then can it be confirmed whether the mentioned rumored features of the alleged Surface Phone and its existence are accurate.
