Although there is still no certainty as to when the Surface Pro 5 will arrive in the market, the latest in the rumor mill claims that the upcoming Microsoft tablet-laptop hybrid will awe the tech and gadget world because of its impressive specs and features that are a definite upgrade from the current version of the device.

Prior to the Microsoft event last October, it was believed that the Surface Pro 5 will be one of the devices that the brand will unveil in the said event. However, to the disappointment of many, the Surface Pro 5 was not even mentioned at the event as it cast the spotlight on the Surface Pro i7 and the Surface Studio only.

Nonetheless, despite the uncertainty on when the Surface Pro 5 will be unveiled, rumors about its possible specs and features continue to surface online. While there are many rumors attached to the upcoming device, the latest unconfirmed reports claim that the Surface Pro 5 will boast of a longer battery life, sharper screen, and a rechargeable stylus pen.

Tech Radar suspects that the Surface Pro 5 will have a longer battery life as compared to the Surface Pro 4. The online publication opines that the upcoming device may be capable of video playback for 7 hours, roughly 2 hours longer than the current 5 hours and 15 minutes of the current Surface Pro.

It is also believed that the upcoming Surface Pro 5 will boast of 4K screen resolution that will make it more ideal for entertainment purposes. If the device is, indeed, to come with 4K screen resolution, it can even be ideal for work as well as it can be perfect for editing photos or videos, too.

While it's true that the current Surface Pro already comes with a Surface Pen, it is said that the one to come with the Surface Pro 5 is rechargeable. Allegedly, the accessory will automatically charge when it is docked to the device magnetically.

Meanwhile, rumors claiming that Microsoft is unveiling the Surface Pro 5 along with the alleged Surface Phone in the upcoming Mobile World Congress (MWC) happening in Barcelona, Spain from Feb. 28 to March 2, 2017 have surfaced. If this turns out to be true, only then can it be confirmed whether the rumored specs and features of the Surface Pro 5 are true or otherwise.
