Appearing on the September 21 issue of Parade Magazine, actress Téa Leoni openly talked about his separation from actor, David Duchovny.

The pair first split in 2008, around the same time when the actor checked himself into rehab for sex addiction. The couple got back together in 2011, but called it quits again for the second time, and it's for good.

Leoni and Duchovny filed for divorce in June 2014, citing "irretrievable breakdown," as the cause. Leoni has always kept her cool on the matter, mainly for the sake of their two children, Kyd Miller (12), and Madelaine West (15).

"Listen, David gave me the two greatest gifts on the planet; I don't know how I could ever hate him. We've always loved each other, and we adore these kids," Leoni told Parade in an interview.

"I'm not playing stupid—I understand feelings can get hurt and things can get icky. We've had our moments like that. But these kids are too important, and he feels the same way. I know it." Leoni continued, saying the Duchovny is a "good guy."

Leoni is making a return to television as she films scenes for 'Madame Secretary,' where she plays former Secretary of State, Madeleine Albright.
