MTV's highly popular "Teen Wolf" left fans reeling after a shocking season four. The season may have answered many questions but also gave birth to new ones, particularly the identity of the Desert Wolf and which supernatural creature Deputy Parish really is.

Season five sets to tie-up all the loose ends, with the Desert Wolf being an important part of the plot and a possible death of a major character. "Teen Wolf" season five is slated to air in June 2015, however, Movie Pilot reports a delay in filming. Filming was supposed to commence in December 2014 but got pushed back to February 2015. This delay in shooting could push the air date to July or even August 2015, making it the first season of "Teen Wolf" to air after June. Previous seasons of the hit supernatural show, revolving around werewolves and banshees, managed to make a June premier date.

However, Fashion & Style reports that filming for season four began in February 2014 and yet the crew managed to premiere the season in June 2014. Maybe they can pull it off again? It is reported that the show's creator Jeff Davis and writer Eric Wallace are discussing character development with actors and the script for season five.

Actors Linden Ashby who plays Sheriff Stilinski and Arden Cho who portrays the role of Kira took to Twitter to tease fans about the upcoming season. Ashby tweeted "Well.... The first two scripts of TW season 5 are really really really really really really really good! Just sayin... :-) @MTVteenwolf" while Cho teased fans by tweeting "Reading EP501 of @MTVteenwolf! Excited to get back into filming!! Who's ready? #TeenWolfSeason5"

Rumors are also rife that Deputy Parish may be a phoenix or a dragon. It seems fans will only learn the truth when the season airs on MTV in 2015.
