The first part of 'Teen Wolf' season 5 ended almost two months ago and fans are still reeling from the very explosive mid-season finale. It's not until next year that they would find the answers to the questions posed in episode 10, but fortunately for them, the cast and crew of the series have been more than generous in dropping hints on what audiences can expect when the series returns next year.

Days before the airing of "Status Asthmaticus," Tyler Posey sat down with Entertainment Weekly to tease the show's viewers on the exciting finale. During the interview, he revealed that the upcoming run would not tie any loose ends together and as such, fans should look toward season 5B for answers.

"Everything's up in the air. Scott's not happy; no one's really happy and it's the first finale that we have where it carries on into the next season," said Posey.

True enough, the Aug. 24 broadcast was exciting to say the least. One of the most talked about cliffhangers involves the tension between Scott and Stiles, and with the series ending the season with the relationship of the group in such disarray, fans were left wondering what would become of their friendship.

Thankfully, in an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, 'Teen Wolf' creator Jeff Davis revealed details surrounding the reconciliation of Stiles and Scott. According to Davis, the two will eventually reunite but the journey to mending past grievances and conflicts is not going to be that simple.

"What's next is partly a long road to recovery for Scott and Stiles' friendship — it's not going to be easy," he said. "They're not all going to come back together in episode 11. What we're planning is a season of rebuilding. Our theme for season 5B is resurrection, so we're going to be bringing the band back together, as they say, and it's all going to be on Scott's shoulders."

'Teen Wolf' season 5B is expected to premiere early next year on MTV.
