'Teen Wolf' season 6 spoilers: New teacher causes problems

(Facebook/TeenWolf)Scott and the others meet their new teacher in "Teen Wolf" season 6.

A new teacher is set to rock the walls of Beacon Hills High School in the upcoming season of "Teen Wolf." At the moment, it remains to be seen if the character will be a friend or a foe to the wolf pack headed by Scott (Tyler Posey).

According to Deadline, "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" star Pete Ploszek will be joining the cast in the new installment. The actor will reportedly play Beacon High's new teacher, Mr. Garrett Douglas. He is described as "a charming, handsome young new teacher, the kind everyone has a crush on." Although he looks harmless enough, fans of the series are still leery of the new addition since the teachers of the said school have had terrible records on the show. Is Mr. Douglas hiding a terrible secret?

Meanwhile, other new faces to watch out for in season 6 are Ross Butler and Gabrielle Elyse. Both will play student roles in the series, but very little else has been known about them. Introducing new characters is probably one of MTV's attempts to ensure the fans that the show will go one even after losing one of its original members. Arden Cho, who played Kira, previously announced that she was not returning in season 6. Fans were disappointed, as there are still plenty of stories to tell about her character.

In the meantime, rumors that say Dylan O'Brien, who plays Stiles, will not reprise his role in the teen series are still rampant on social media. Some sources claim that the actor still needs to recuperate after sustaining injuries while filming his new film. One Direction member Harry Styles will reportedly replace him. Showrunner Jeff Davis allegedly said that they were still talking with the pop star's agents and could not confirm anything. Digital Spy, however, debunks the claim, stating that the EP told them that the gossip was not true.

MTV has not yet announced a premiere date for "Teen Wolf" Season 6.
