Fans of "Teen Wolf" are crossing their fingers that Stiles (Dylan O'Brien) will finally acknowledge his feelings for Lydia (Holland Roden) in the upcoming season of the MTV series.
The promo for the final installment shows that Stiles will be in trouble once again. The new villains in town, the Ghost Riders, have come for him. They have the power to erase someone's existence and for some reason, they have chosen Stiles as their victim. Even his father, Sheriff Stilinski (Linden Ashby), could not remember him when they met. Only Lydia has retained her memories of Stiles, but they are slowly being erased from her mind.
In the clip, Stiles is telling Lydia that she must forget him. The way he held onto her hands, however, belies his words.
"Stydia" fans have been hoping that their favorite couple will finally come clean that they love each other. Since the series is coming to a close, a happy ending for them is one of the expected scenarios. Stiles' death-defying experience may open his eyes to the truth that Lydia has become a very important part of his life. As for Lydia, she must be wondering why she felt like there was a big hole in her life when Stiles disappeared.
Tyler Posey, who plays Scott, recently spoke to AOL about the Stiles' storyline and how the other characters would behave.
"They just have this feeling that they're missing something. So everybody goes about their everyday lives, normal lives and keeping the pack together but there is an element in everybody that there's kind of feeling like something is missing, which kind of messes with them because they know from the past that if they have this information of a bad feeling then there's probably something bad happening," the actor explained to AOL.
"Teen Wolf" is expected to return on Tuesday, Nov. 15 on MTV.
