Filming for "Teen Wolf" season 6 is underway and there are a lot of talks surrounding the fate of actor Dylan O'Brien's Stiles Stilinski and pop star Harry Styles' casting.

O'Brien figured in an accident, while filming his movie "The Maze Runner: Death Cure" and is currently still recovering from injuries. While the movie's production is temporarily suspended, filming for "Teen Wolf" season 6 continues. This has raised concern among the series' fans where Stiles is one of the favorite characters. He plays the best friend of lead character Scott McCall and provides comic relief in the series.

Representatives of the actor have been quiet about his condition, although friends who saw him claim the actor is healing well. He has not been spotted shooting though, and many are concerned that Stiles will either be written off in season 6 or O'Brien will be replaced by another actor.

Styles has been rumored to be cast in the next season, and with the weight of O'Brien's speculated absence, he is believed to be taking his place. Executive producer Jeff Davis clears the rumors with Creative 132.

When asked about Stiles' fate, he said, "No, we aren't replacing Stiles. Dylan O'Brien will be back to film soon. He can't do any stunts and we're talking with Wes Ball, the producer of 'The Maze Runner,' we hope to get him back on 'Teen Wolf' to film, while being injured, but the thing is, he wants to film, he's in perfect condition. But he's just not doing fine enough to do any stunts."

As for Harry Styles, the rumor about his inclusion is "Not 100% fake." Davis explained, "We do want Harry Styles in our show. Like a new British boy. But we're still in talks with people, directors, agents. So we can't confirm anything yet."

Stiles was originally scheduled to make a heavy appearance in the first episode of season 6 where his relationship with Lydia would be dealt with. However, recent developments suggest he may not appear until the fourth episode.

"Teen Wolf" season 6 is expected to premiere in November.
