Just last week, game publisher Bandai Namco released the latest trailer for "Tekken 7: Fated Retribution." It gives gamers a taste of what to look forward to the game series' upcoming addition.

As for the game's development, it is still in its beta stage and location tests will also start later this week. But things are looking up as "Fated Retribution" is reportedly close to its completion, Tech Times reports. Last Friday, the game released its newest trailer, which showed two new characters fighting abilities plus an update on the Rage system. The sneak peak of what the game has to offer can be viewed on the tekkenchannel on Youtube.

The two additional characters—Akuma from "Street Fighter" and Nina Williams—are the game's highlight.

Akuma, which used to be a guest character, crossovered to "Fated Retribution" as part of its mainstay fighters. Also, as Forbes reported, the Master of the Fist has an important part towards the narrative of the game. Although it has not been fully disclosed, it is reportedly connected to the Heihachi.

The idea of guest characters initially did not sit well with the game producer Katsuhiro Harada because it could mess with the game's settings. However, Akuma became a fitting addition to the plot without it being a "cheesy gimmick."

Akuma possesses a distinctive type of Ansatsuken style of fighting. The "Satsui no Hado" is also said to give him an advantage since it is a destructive and deadly surge of energy that he has yet to master.

Also, there are information on the updated Rage Attack and Rage Arts System. These updated systems can help boost the attacks of a character. Rage Arts basically enables players to do move cancellation. Rage Mode, on the other hand, opens the moves.

"Tekken 7: Fated Retribution" is scheduled to be released next week in Tokyo, Osaka and Fuluoka.
