'The 100' season 4 premiere spoilers: Bob Morley says a reconciliation between Bellamy and Octavia is possible; series expected to return in 2017

"The 100" ended its excellent third season run with ALIE destroyed and Octavia finally getting her revenge on Pike. And with the series set to return in 2017, fans have a lot of time to speculate on what will happen next to Clarke and her band of survivors.

The popular post-apocalyptic drama has already been picked up for a fourth season, much to the delight of its millions of fans. Unfortunately, the series is not among The CW shows that will be returning in the fall.

That's a long wait for fans who are already aching to know if Clarke (Eliza Taylor) and the rest of "The 100" will be able to find a solution to the nuclear radiation that ALIE had warned them about. While there's no news yet on how that will be resolved, star Bob Morley told fans during the recent Phoenix Comic-Con that reconciliation is still possible between siblings Bellamy (Morley) and Octavia (Marie Avgeropoulos), if the younger Blake sticks around, that is.

Fans will recall that Octavia partly blames her brother for Lincoln's (Ricky Whittle) death, but Avgeropoulos also admitted to IGN that her character has a long, dark, and difficult road ahead in season 4, partly because of her issues with family.

"She's always in conflict about what to do [and] at the end of the day she's at conflict with the decision of family," the actress explained. "Bellamy's the only family Octavia has. It's going to be tough for her next season."

Aside from the Blake family drama, a lot of fans are also wondering whether Luna will be appearing next season. The rightful leader of the Grounders refused the Flame that Clarke carried, opting instead to move her barge and her people farther away from Polis. However, Luna was such a compelling character that it would be a waste not to develop her further. It's a sentiment that Taylor wholeheartedly agrees to.

"Personally, I would love to see her come back," Taylor told EW. "Nadia [Hilker] is such a beautiful, intriguing actress, and Luna is such a great character. There's a lot more we could do with her for sure."

Fans would have to be patient though as "The 100" season 4 is expected to return to The CW in 2017.
