As the production of the fourth season of "The 100" begins, more and more speculations about the upcoming season are flooding the internet. A plethora of theories have been circulating, but among those, fans believe in Lexa's return (Alycia Debnam Carey), Bellamy's (Bob Morley) death, and Clarke's (Eliza Taylor) blooming love life to a greater degree.

At last month's San Diego Comic-Con (SDCC), executive producer Jason Rothenberg revealed that certain plot elements for season 4 could open a comeback for Lexa. But for Bellamy, things might seem bleak. At the same event, Rothenberg hinted that Bellamy might not make it out of the nuclear disaster in the coming season.

When the executive producer was asked by Hitflix regarding Bellamy's redemption, he basically warned the reporter not to get his hopes up as Bellamy's redemption won't be happening anytime soon.

On the other hand, Clark and Raven (Lindsey Morgan) might be having a far better time in season 4. Reports say that their relationship, which is dubbed as Princess Mechanic, will be blossoming in the upcoming season.

Also during this year's SDCC, Morgan and Taylor announced, "Princess Mechanic, it's on."

Despite their announcement, fans are hoping for Ice Mechanic to happen especially now that "Black Sails" actor Zach McGowan has been promoted to series regular.

McGowan will be a series regular starting this season after an outstanding performance in the previous season as Roan, the King of the Ice Nation.

At WizardCon, Morgan tweeted a bunch of emojis, but the most noticeable ones were an ice cream cone, a wrench, and a crown. Basically, she was trying to say "Ice Mechanic," and fans couldn't help but take her tweet as a confirmation that Ice Mechanic is happening.

In the previous season, the King kept chasing Clarke, who at that time loved and lost Lexa. If Clarke won't get over her lost love, and if Lexa won't return to the picture, then maybe there's room for Ice Mechanic to develop in season 4.

The fourth season of "The 100" will premiere on The CW in 2017.
