Fans of the epic post-apocalyptic TV drama, "The 100," were treated to what Clarke would look like coming into season three. The leader of the Sky People can be seen sporting the face paint and hairstyle used by The Grounders, prompting fans to wonder if she has changed allegiances or if she's on an undercover mission.

"The 100's" creator and showrunner Jason Rothenberg tweeted a sneak peek of Eliza Taylor's character and teased fans that they "aren't ready" for what the new season has in store for them. The claim does have a ring of truth to it; if the Sky People's former leader is now a grounder, then the next season of "The 100" promises to be a very wild and intense one.

Fans will recall that the second season ended with Clarke walking away from her group after their so-called victory on Mount Weather. The decision to leave was prompted in part by the fact that Lexa, a grounder and her romantic interest, betrayed Clarke and the Sky people during the battle against the Mountain Men. It would appear that the years spent fighting, the sacrifices she made and the dangers she faced have taken a toll and Clarke needs to figure out who she is and what she stands for.

The 25-year-old Taylor admits her character running away is "very un-Clarke-like" and reveals that season three will see Clarke not handling the events of the last season very well.

Aside from Clarke's fate, viewers are also wondering whether or not Lexa will return next season, especially after the two shared a kiss in the cave. But aside from the fact that she ordered the Grounders to stand down during the fight, Alycia Debnam-Carey, the actress who plays Lexa, is now part of the main cast of "Fear the Walking Dead."

There will be new faces next season on "The 100." Brenda Strong has been cast as Queen Nia of the Ice Nation, "The Blacklist's" Michael Beach is onboard as an Arker called Pike and Zach McGowan will be portraying Roan, a rogue Grounder warrior.

"The 100" season three has been confirmed to have 16 episodes. However, no premiere date has been set yet for the series.
