'The Big Bang Theory' season 10 spoilers: What will happen between Howard Wolowitz and the Air Force?

(Facebook/TheBigBangTheory)"The Big Bang Theory" season 10 is scheduled to premiere on Sept. 19 on CBS.

Most of the news surrounding "The Big Bang Theory" has to do with its upcoming season maybe being its last. However, plot-wise, it looks like Howard Wolowitz (Simon Helberg) may be onto something in the finale when he seemed terrified of the email that he received from the Air Force.

The season 9 finale saw Wolowitz panicking over the Air Force's knowledge of their brainchild, but it seems that there is a definite chance that his paranoia may not be entirely baseless. Speaking with Entertainment Weekly, executive producer Steve Molaro said:

"Based on what we've learned and what we've been researching, it could be fine, but I think there is a small percentage chance that they should actually be concerned. That storyline is certainly not finished. They have no choice but to see what the Air Force wants and then go from there."

As for the other members of their little gang, there are speculations that Sheldon (Jim Parsons) and Amy (Mayim Bialik), nicknamed "Shamy," might be ready to take their relationship further come season 10. Given that the guys are getting married one by one, the possibility of Sheldon following suit is high.

New characters are also rumored to be introduced in the upcoming season. So far, viewers have only met one member of Penny's (Kaley Cuoco) family — her father. And as for Howard, fans only got a chance to hear his mother's voice throughout all nine seasons. And since her mother had already passed, Howard's father could make an appearance. It would certainly be interesting to meet some of the characters' other relatives, especially in a comedy show like "The Big Bang Theory."

As previously reported, season 10 will pick up from the events of the season 9 finale, which saw Sheldon's mother, Mary (Laurie Metcalf), and Leonard's (Johnny Galecki) father, Alfred (Judd Hirsch), seemingly hook up.

"The Big Bang Theory" season 10 will premiere on Monday, Sept. 19, on CBS.
