Mayim Bialik shares some upcoming changes to her character, Amy Farrah Fowler, as the cast and crew start season nine of the hit CBS show, "The Big Bang Theory."

Writing on her blog, kveller.com, the actress dishes on what is in store for fans in the season premiere, saying:

"Season 9 picks up literally less than 24 hours after Season 8 ended. So we will deal with everything you saw in the season finale: Leonard and Penny going to Las Vegas to get married, and Amy taking time off from Sheldon."

She also reassures fans that she is coming back for the show's ninth season.

The season eight finale ended with both Penny and Leonard eloping to Las Vegas to get married. While on the trip, Leonard confesses that he has kissed another woman a couple of years back when he was drunk.

Sheldon and Amy were in quite a pickle as well; Amy breaks up with him. Leaving Sheldon to wonder about what he will do with the engagement ring he just bought.

Executive Producer, Steve Malaro, remained silent on the status of Sheldon and Amy's relationship during their visit at Comic-Con in early July. But when asked if Sheldon would ever propose to Amy, Malaro was quick in saying that it will be answered during the season premiere.

He told the audience at Comic-Con:

"Right now, she [Amy] really wants to take a step back and think about where she is, where they are and how she wants to move forward in her life. I don't think she's necessarily in a rush to find another man, but I don't think she's ruling it out either."

The season nine of 'The Big Bang Theory" will premiere on Sept. 21. The show has also been renewed for a tenth season on CBS.
