"The Big Bang Theory" season nine pilot left fans with more questions than when season eight wrapped up. Will they get some answers at least when episode two premieres? The official synopsis says they just might.

Episode two of "The Big Bang Theory" season nine is titled "The Separation Oscillation" and hints that the relationships that have gone sour won't be easily fixed. This is not only for Amy (Mayim Bialik) and Sheldon (Jim Parsons), who broke up for good (supposedly) in episode one, but also goes for Penny (Kaley Cuoco) and Leonard (Johnny Galecki), who said "I do" in "The Big Bang Theory" season nine premiere.

In the official synopsis for episode two posted by Hollywood Hills, it seems that Leonard will try his best to not have his marriage bid adieu so soon into it. And the best solution he can come up with? Confront the woman he kissed while on a three-month expedition at the North Pole. He feels that doing so will put Penny's mind at ease. However, whether it works or not remains to be seen.

While Leonard is bent on fixing his marriage, Sheldon is leaning towards revenge. The official synopsis says that the theoretical physicist will create a new webisode of "Fun with Flags" to retaliate. In the episode two promo clip, he introduces the new episode with, "Thankfully, all the things my girlfriend used to do can be taken care of with my right hand." How does Amy react? "I'm gonna kill him," she says with passion.

Bernadette (Melissa Rauch) will also have a dilemma of her own. As the synopsis reads, "Bernadette will feel guilty about withholding a secret from Penny."

Making her appearance in the episode as Mandy is Melissa Tang.

"The Big Bang Theory" airs on CBS every Monday night, with episode two premiering on Sept. 28.
